About Ho-ting
Artist, composer, devastating poet…
For me, to create is to breathe.
Channeling energy from nature and mindfulness practise, I seek to walk the kindest path possible. My work is inspired by the connection to our land and the double belonging of both Eastern and Western traditions. Through art, I hope to invite reflection, exploring the dualities we carry within. In cultivating peace in ourselves, and seeing the world with an artist's eyes, I know we can change the world.

Behind the logo
My Logo is a stylised Chinese Character for ‘Ting’ 渟. It is a traditional stone seal, hand carved by my mum, who also gave me this name.
I carry it with me always.
My name was calculated through Ba Zi theory - a Chinese astrological concept where a person’s destiny can be dictated by their exact time of birth, which then corresponds to Chinese characters and the harmony of the five elements. My full name Ho-ting 皓渟 means ‘the moon reflecting on water’.
The 渟 character is unique as it features three water droplets which restores the water element.
In many ways, my name has predicted, secured and paved my destiny so it felt only right to have it as my logo <3.
